A start-up scheme for both professional and budding photographers tailored for
today's challenging environment and with an mind to support the local community
and economy.

Here's how you can start making money or earning credits towards printing:

Qualifying topics are anything concerning Hollywood, Palm Springs or the surrounding desert area including but not limited to: local architecture, natural environment, plants, mountains, desert scenes, celebrities, local flavor, vintage autos and buildings. Images can be color or black & white.
Please note: We do not buy images, transparencies/slides or photographic prints.  

DETAILS & TERMS
Maximum of 10 images may be submitted in any 30 day period, there is no minimum submission requirement.
Participant must certify that they personally photographed the image(s).
Image(s) must be submitted in high resolution digital format: JPG, TIF, PSD, PDF acceptable. Files over 20MB in size may be uploaded on the home page here or submitted on CD. All other submissions may be sent via email to alice.wrightimage@gmail.com
The Wright Image and its jury panel will select the images to be printed, all decisions are final. The Wright Image reserves the right to discontinue the agreement at any time. Image(s) will be exclusively published in the Coachella Valley by The Wright Image and may not be sold or licensed to any other gallery in the Coachella Valley, any licensing undertaken by the photographer to print or display the image(s) in printed publications or electronic media not controlled by The Wright Image must include this caption next to the image(s) “Prints of this image may be obtained from The Wright Image, (760)322-5777 www.thewrightimagegallery.com ” additionally photographer may include a direct link to his/her image(s) on the Wright Image website if desired. Photographer certifies by agreeing to this program that the image(s) are not under previous agreement with any other gallery or distributor.
Photographer must grant The Wright Image the right to use the image(s) in advertising and promotional materials both printed and electronic, including but not limited to: to print the image(s) for an indefinite period in our Local Photographers Catalog, to publicly exhibit the image(s) in The Wright Image Gallery and on the gallery website: www.thewrightimagegallery.com for an indefinite period.

Photographer will receive payment and/or credits on the 15th or 30th of the month following 30 days after the image(s) has sold (to allow for any returns)

The photographer may choose to receive 25 % of the final sale of the piece(s) as a cash settlement
 - or -
The photographer may choose to use 35% of the final sale of the piece(s) as a credit towards printing (at full retail price)

The Wright Image has the right to refuse the use of any submitted photography at any time, and does not guarantee sale of any photographer's work.

Images will be printed on either paper or canvas and any size at the discretion of The Wright Image. The Wright Image has the right to manipulate the selected image(s) digitally, including extensive alterations to the image, original image will remain recognizable and photographer percentages are not affected.

All images selected will become open edition prints, Wright Image reserves the right to choose which and how many of the selected images to display at any time. Photographer has the right to sign the prints if desired.

Retail price of all prints will be determined by The Wright Image, at the time of writing the price is set at 25% above Wright Image photo to canvas prices to allow for photographer's profit.
